An article in USA Today discussed the
wind turbine industry's new national and local developments. On the front page and inside,
a photo of Thomas Hurd, the founder of Spatial Designs Energy Division was shown with a backdrop of our new wind/solar powered office building.

Thomas Hurd was requested to present a case study of Spatial Designs' new office. The wind/solar powered office not only saves 75% of the energy of other offices in the area, it also generates 98% of its own electricity and 40% of its own heat needs. It uses twin African turbines totalling 2.6kw and 32 photovoltaic (pv) panels totalling 5.4kw.
